We started in 2016 when our co-founders Dr. Mallesh Bommanahal and Mr. Varzavand Batiliwala came together to leverage their expertise in AI and enterprise business in simplifying business processes for the insurance and healthcare industry.
Fast forward to today, i3systems is a leading artificial intelligence and intelligent automation company that provides products for deep automation of highly repetitive & data-intensive processes to help insurers & TPAs unlock their true potential & scale digital operations. All our products have ready-to-use NLP models called PowerBots and are packaged on an intelligent automation platform called PowerAI

We specialize in deep automation of dark data processes, and do not need elaborate rule set ups or template configurations. In fact, our AI “creates” dynamic rule sets based on its analysis of historical data and decisions.
Our AI enables a self-learning model that learns from past data and continuously improves decisions for enhanced performance. The longer you work on the solution, the better it gets.
Our solutions are built for entire industry-wide processes. We do not automate individual tasks or provide generic AI models because we believe such an approach merely changes the problem to be solved and doesn’t actually solve anything.

Co-Founder & CEO
Dr. Mallesh Bommanahal the co-founder and CEO of i3systems. In his current role, he is spearheading the company’s growth and leads Product Management, Sales and Strategy functions. Mallesh is a visionary in the intelligent automation space and with his strong expertise in developing AI products. He is actively involved in the development of innovative customer-centric product solutions at i3systems.
Furthermore, as a co-founder, Mallesh works closely with business heads in new deal structuring, pricing and adds his unique perspective on the business expansion plan. Mallesh graduated with a B.Tech and M.Tech from IIT Bombay, and later did a PhD from De Montfort University in Leicester in the UK.

Mr. Varzavand Batliwala is the co-founder of i3systems where he leads customer success, support and guides customers in their digital transformation journey. He has been a driving force at i3systems since inception and drives the company’s vision & strategy. In his previous role at TVS Capital and TATA Capital he managed Business Strategy, Financial Planning and Market Research.
Varzavand graduated with a B.Tech and M.Tech from IIT Bombay, and later completed the CFA L-3.
